Kuo: All 3 2020 iPhones Will Feature 5G Connectivity

New iPhone Setup
Reputed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says in his latest note that all three iPhones which Apple plans to launch in 2020 will feature 5G connectivity.
The analyst believes that with Apple acquiring Intel’s modem business, the company now has more resources to bring 5G connectivity to its iPhones. He expects that with even $350 Android smartphones supporting 5G by next year, it will almost become a necessity for Apple to include 5G connectivity on even its cheapest 2020 iPhone.
We now believe that all three new 2H20 iPhone models will support 5G for the following reasons. (1) Apple has more resource for developing the 5G iPhone after the acquisition of Intel baseband business. (2) We expect that the prices of 5G Android smartphones will decline to $249-349 USD in 2H20. We believe that 5G Android smartphones, which will be sold at $249-349 USD, will only support Sub-6GHz. But the key is that consumers will think that 5G is the necessary function in 2H20. Therefore, iPhone models which will be sold at higher prices have to support 5G for winning more subsidies from mobile operators and consumers’ purchase intention. (3) Boosting 5G developments could benefit Apple’s AR ecosystem.
As per Kuo, the 2020 5G iPhone will support both mmWave and sub-6GHz bands which would allow it to work with different 5G networks in the United States. In some countries like China though, Apple is seemingly looking to launch iPhones with sub-6GHz 5G modem in a bid to save cost.
The 2020 iPhone is looking like a major upgrade that will see Apple radically overhaul the lineup. The 2020 iPhone lineup will comprise of iPhones with display sizes of 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.7-inch. All three of them are expected to sport an OLED display.
In a bid to include 5G connectivity on its 2020 iPhone, Apple even settled with Qualcomm by paying it billions of dollars. It was forced to do this as Intel was unable to stick to its 5G modem development timeline which put Apple’s plan to launch a 5G iPhone in 2020 in jeopardy. Despite Apple acquiring Intel’s smartphone modem business, the company is expected to make use of Qualcomm’s 5G modem for 2020 iPhones.

ARM's break with Huawei leaves the Chinese company limbless

Huawei's having a rough week. Target of sanctions imposed by the U.S. government, the company saw this week suppliers such as Google, Intel, Qualcomm and Microsoft cut business relations, putting in doubt the future of their business. But now another company has been forced into the boycott: ARM, which provides key technology used in processors produced by Huawei and its subsidiary, HiSilicon.

For those who do not know, ARM is a British company that develops and licenses the ARM architecture, used in processors of virtually all smartphones in the market. Yes, all: Qualcomm, Broadcomm, Apple, Samsung, MediaTek, Unisoc, Nvidia and Huawei themselves use the ARM architecture as the foundation for their processors.

And although ARM has been an English company since its inception, the ARM architecture contains "U.S.-origin technology," which is covered by the terms of the sanctions imposed by the US government. As a result, the company was forced to discontinue "support, technology delivery (whether code, software or other updates) and technical discussions" with Huawei, HiSilicon and any other related companies.

Kirin 980 processor contains ARM technology / © Huawei

When Qualcomm broke off the relationship with Huawei, many pointed to the fact that Huawei would not be such an essential supplier, as Huawei produces its own chips (the Kirin family) and modems (the Balong family). But without the support of ARM, the future of these products is threatened.

What now, Huawei? The company's options after being forced to "divorce" Google

Huawei has an "architecture license" from ARM, meaning it can modify and extend the architecture to continue developing its own processors, but without technical support from the UK company and licenses for future versions of the architecture, everything becomes much more difficult.

In a statement to The Verge, Huawei had this to say about the situation:

"We value our close relationships with our partners, but recognize the pressure some of them are under, as a result of politically motivated decisions. We are confident this regrettable situation can be resolved and our priority remains to continue to deliver world-class technology and products to our customers around the world."

Huawei is currently the second largest smartphone manufacturer on the planet, behind only Samsung and ahead of Apple. But without an operating system (Android) and processors (ARM), this line of business is seriously threatened. If you lost data after you updated to a new iPhone, you can always use Gihosoft iPhone Data Recovery to get the data back from the old iPhone or backup. You may also like: iphonerecovery.com

Pixel 3a Spotted on Google Store Website

Pixel 3a Spotted on Google Store Website

Nowadays, phone leaks seem imminent when sources can’t keep the device under wraps. But what happens when the manufacturer mistakenly submits key details on their own website? Like Samsung’s YouTube team committed a blunder by accidentally uploading Note 9’s introduction video a few days before its official launch, Google is in the line for another gaffe.

The thoroughly rumored Pixel 3a, Pixel 3 & 3 XL’s lite version, has surfaced on Google’s website. Obviously, that particular link is non-functional but we’ve got a screenshot, just in case. Take a look below:

Unfortunately, we can’t confirm any other specifications as the website only displayed the moniker. If rumors are to be believed, Google will launch two lite versions this year, namely Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL – both mid-rangers. The phones might ship with 4GB RAM (are you serious?) The Pixel 3a could sport a smaller 5.6-inches FHD+ display while the Pixel 3a XL will get a bigger 6-inch display with an FHD+ resolution. They are expected to come with OLED displays and 12MP primary camera. SoC is unknown but Google might use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670.

How to continue using Inbox after closing

Thanks to the huge community of users in love with Google's alternative mail application, Reddit has discovered a method for obviating the block screen posted by the Californian company at the opening of the app to announce its "death". All you have to do is uninstall the application from the Google Play Store and install a previous APK ramite update.

Inbox version 1.77 - Download APK

Inbox version 1.72 - Download APK

The colleagues of Android Police, who reported the news, have verified the operation of the Inbox app for Android both in version 1.72 of May 2018, and in 1.77 of September. Probably, Google is slowly closing all accesses to the service to give users time to migrate and we suspect that soon this method will not work anymore.

If you want to, however, delay the departure of Inbox by Gmail this is the best way!

Restore WhatsApp Backup from iCloud to iPhone

1. Only Restore WhatsApp Chats from iCloud to iPhone

You can recover your WhatsApp chat history from iCloud backup with the built-in function from WhatsApp (if you have made a previous backup in chat settings) by following the steps outlined below.

Open WhatsApp on your iPhone and go to Settings, then select Chat Settings. Tap on Chat Backup and check to see if an iCloud backup for your WhatsApp chat history is available.

Once you have verified that there's an available WhatsApp backup, go to your Apps and uninstall WhatsApp, then reinstall it again in order to transfer whatsApp chats from iCloud backup to iPhone.

After you've reinstalled WhatsApp, verify your phone number to start WhatsApp and the next screen will ask you to restore your previous WhatsApp chat backup. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to complete the restore.

Note: Please make sure that the WhatsApp phone number of the backup history and the account to be restored must be same.Restore WhatsApp Backup from iCloud to iPhone
2. Restore All Data including WhatsApp from iCloud to iPhone

Some users didn't back up the WhatsApp data within the app. If you think you have no choice but to restore all data once you have made an iPhone backup with iCloud, you may choose to restore your whole iCloud backup (rather than just WhatsApp). You can make it easily, but there is also a disadvantage you need to know - all your current iPhone data will be overwritten by the restored backup.

Switch on your iPhone. For those who've already set up their device, you need to wipe all your iPhone data before you are allowed to use this method.

After you've wiped your iPhone, boot it up and follow the on-screen instructions till you get to Apps & Data, then select Restore from iCloud Backup. You'll be asked to sign in to iCloud.

Having successfully signed into iCloud, you can now select a most relevant backup. After you select a backup, the restore process will begin.

Wait for the restore process to complete and do not disconnect from the network. This might take a while, depending on backup size and network strength.

Note: Always stay connected and ensure your device is charged for a faster restore process.
3. Only Backup & Restore WhatsApp Data from/to iPhone

For most users, you do not need a whole backup from iCloud. We can't risk big things for the sake of small ones, even they are also important. Instead of going through the long and tedious process of restoring your backups from iCloud, is there any simple way to perform this? Here you can try an all-in-one tool that makes the backup and restore quite easy.

How to Delete Viber Cache iPhone for Free 2019

How to Delete Viber Cache iPhone for Free 2019

The excitement you get when you first buy your iPhone must be amazing. However, there is nothing worse than pulling out your iPhone from your pocket to capture that once in a lifetime brief moment only to be met with a “storage almost full” message. This is a sinking feeling, and your first task is to check if an app you regularly use is gulping up more storage by caching large volume of data.
Why We Need to Delete Viber Cache iPhone

Cache files can be found in many iPhone applications. Even though they are crucial when it comes to speeding up an app, these files use more storage space on your iPhone than you would think. In that case, giving your iPhone a thorough cleaning will remove those unwanted data and cache while improving its performance and gaining more storage space. I am to show you how to delete Viber cache iPhone.
How to Delete Viber Cache iPhone for Free
Free Way 1. Delete Viber Cache iPhone via Setting

Unluckily, iPhone doesn't provide built-in function to clear app cache, except for the Safari. So, the fast way to clear Viber cache on iPhone is to completely uninstall it from your iDevice and reinstall it again. When an app is uninstalled from your iPhone, everything in that app, including preferences, cookies and cache will be wiped off. To do this:

Step 1: Click on Settings, then on General.

Step 2: Tap on Storage & iCloud Usage and then Manage Storage.

Step 3: Scroll down to Viber and tap on Delete. This will delete the Viber app from your iPhone plus its cache data.

A few of the several disadvantages of this method:

1. You will not only delete the cache files, but also all App data and important files

2. Manually deleting Viber app and installing again is kind of boring and also a waste of time.Sponsor ads:

iPhone Contact Cleaner: Deal with iPhone Contact Problems 2019

iPhone Contact Cleaner: Deal with iPhone Contact Problems
Common Issues with iPhone Contacts

All iPhone users will most likely be familiar with issues that they encounter with iPhone contacts. Although many seem to overlook them, they however become very frustrating over time leaving you no choice but to remove them once and for all.

Duplicate Contacts: One of the most common issues faced by iPhone users is related to duplicate contacts. Most of us have the same address book for our work and home. However, this results in many contacts being duplicated and messing up the entire screen.

Contacts Backup: Another similar issue occurs whenever you back up your device. Somehow, your contacts are also backed up producing two or more contact links of the same person.

Deleted Contact Records: Whether or not you have deleted a particular contact, the call log still displays your call history associated with that particular contact.

All of these issues waste storage space and therefore it becomes important to get an iPhone contact cleaner to delete unwanted contacts as soon as possible.

How to Deal with iPhone Contact Problems

There are a number of ways in which you can deal with such contact issues on your phone. Below are some of the methods that you can adopt in order to manage your contacts more efficiently.
1 Remove or Merge Duplicate Contacts
Option 1: Remove Duplicate Contacts Manually

If there are only a few duplicate contacts that you know about, you are better off removing them manually. You can do this by simply tapping and holding the contact and pressing delete in the pop-up menu.
Option 2: Merge Duplicate Contacts using “Cleanup Duplicate Contacts” app

If you are unsure whether it is safe to delete duplicate contacts, then it is probably a good idea to merge them together so that they take up lesser space. You can do so by using the Cleanup Duplicate Contacts app.

The process is pretty simple. All you need to do is grant the app access to your contacts. Once you do so, the app will analyze all the contacts and will determine which ones are duplicates. You can then merge the contacts accordingly.

2 Back up Contacts with iTunes

Normally, iTunes will create a back-up of your contacts automatically. However, if you have disabled the option, you will need to enable it by syncing your device with iTunes.

You can do so by connecting your iPhone to the computer and launching iTunes. Select the device from the left pane and select “Info”. See if the “Sync Contacts” box is checked. Right-click on your device’s name and select “Back Up”.
